The Aromachology

Aromachology is the study of how scent connects to mood and emotion. Nurture is built on notes research has associated with warmth and comfort.

Citrus notes like lemon, mandarin, and grapefruit are among the most studied in mood research, linked to feeling brighter and less stressed. Ginger brings a warm, spicy edge often associated with comfort. Black currant adds a soft, fruity depth. Turmeric and amber in the base settle the blend into something warm and steady.

The research is real. The intention behind every choice we make with it is ours.

The Crystal

A genuine Amethyst, a stone long associated with calm and care, is sealed at the base beneath the wax. You won’t see it while the candle burns. It’s revealed when you reach the bottom.

We won’t claim it heals you. Think of it as what was there the whole time, a reminder that the tenderness you give so freely was always yours to keep too.

The Vessel

The matte finish diffuses candlelight instead of reflecting it, so the glow stays soft and close. In color psychology, blush pink is associated with warmth, compassion, and gentleness. It’s a color that asks for nothing.

The glass is reusable, and recyclable when you’re done with it.

Complimentary matches and a blank intention card shaped like a coaster*. Write a word, a reminder, or nothing at all, and set it beneath the candle while it burns. A natural cork lid keeps the wax clean between burns.

Every candle is hand-poured in small batches in West Caldwell, NJ, by one maker. We're a BIPOC-owned, woman-owned business and a registered NJ Sustainable Business. We source our raw materials exclusively from small businesses, most of them woman-owned, so every purchase keeps supporting makers who care about their craft the way we care about ours.
