The Aromachology

Aromachology is the study of how scent connects to mood and emotion. Each mini is built on notes research has associated with specific feelings.

Namaste: Warm spices like cinnamon and clove are often associated with comfort and familiarity, and sandalwood has been associated with calm.

Xenacious: Lemon is linked to feeling alert and refreshed, and jasmine is often associated with warmth and a brighter mood.

Perseverance: Citrus like blood orange is linked to feeling brighter, and warm notes like vanilla and cinnamon are often associated with comfort.

The research is real. The intention behind every choice we make with it is ours.

The Vessel

Each mini comes in the same matte vessel as its full-size candle, just smaller. The matte finish diffuses candlelight instead of reflecting it, so the glow stays soft and warm.

  • Namaste: clay-colored glass, the color of sun-baked earth. In color psychology, earthy tones like this are associated with warmth and belonging.
  • Xenacious: matte sage. Sage green is associated with growth and calm.
  • Perseverance: matte cream. Soft neutrals like cream are associated with calm and a sense of safety.

The glass is reusable, and recyclable when you’re done with it.

Every candle is hand-poured in small batches in West Caldwell, NJ, by one maker. We're a BIPOC-owned, woman-owned business and a registered NJ Sustainable Business. We source our raw materials exclusively from small businesses, most of them woman-owned, so every purchase keeps supporting makers who care about their craft the way we care about ours.
